What is the difference between a domain name and web hosting?

However, I cant see anything about how much space I get when I buy a domain name, so this makes me think I need to get web hosting…. please help!!

I’m still confused - so if it says Domain Names $11 and then Web Hosting $164.50, do I need both? Or can I just buy a Domain Name and use Frontpage to upload my pages to that name? Sorry… I can be a bit thick sometimes…
